How I became a Marilyn Monroe Impersonator
But I'm not going to worry about them.
I'm dreaming the hardest.’ ”
- Marilyn Monroe
This was the magic moment that would change my life. I was curious, so I tried to find out as much as possible about her. I’ve started to collect everything related to Marilyn: her movies and songs, photographs, biopics, documentaries, and books. Marilyn Monroe became one of the most important persons in my life. Being very ambitious I quickly learned how to move and perform like Marilyn. The same year I was discovered by a talent seeker named Walter Mohl. He was looking for children and teenagers for his talent contest “The little chance”. This was my first performance as Marilyn Monroe impersonator in front of an audience. I sang one or two songs and won the contest.
Of course I didn’t really look like Marilyn at that time, my hair wasn’t blond and curly, and I was wearing glasses (on stage!). Today I’m laughing when I think back on this performance, it was just hilarious. It also makes me smile when I remember that I didn’t know who Marilyn Monroe was. However, I became more professional and started a career as a celebrity impersonator and look-alike. I’m lucky that I actually look like Marilyn (even my body height is almost the same), I just need a bit of makeup and hair rollers to make the style perfect. Apart from the external similarity I have also many other things in common with her. I’m extremely fond of animals, and just like Marilyn, I’ve always had to fight as an actress to get serious roles instead of the same stereotyped roles over and over again.
So one day I came up with the idea to produce a movie by myself, not a big budget feature film, but a short film. I'll tell you more about this project in another post. In the meantime, I’d love to hear from you, please leave a comment. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you!

I am super excited to see how your career progresses. I have been a huge fan of all the old Hollywood stars since I was a little girl. Marilyn and Audrey were two of my favourites.
Thank you so much for your comment! I really appreciate it.
